Launch day is the culmination of all your hard work. It should be treated like a special event. With a clear plan, you can focus on celebrating this milestone and connecting with your excited audience. The secret to a stress-free launch is to have a simple, easy-to-follow plan for the day.

1.  The Morning of Your Launch

Before you do anything else, take a moment to do a final check of everything. This simple action can prevent a small error from derailing your big day.

Final Test Run: Click your "Buy Now" button yourself. Go through the entire checkout process to make sure your payment system is working perfectly. Ensure that customers receive their product or access to your course immediately after purchase. For example, if you sell an e-book, make sure the download link works correctly.

Review Your Sales Page: Give your sales page one final read-through. Check for any typos and make sure the messaging is crystal clear. Ensure your call-to-action button stands out and that all testimonials are properly displayed.

Check Your Links: Your pre-launch campaign has likely built a lot of links. Do a quick check to ensure all links on your website and social media profiles are pointing to the correct sales page.

2.  Your Launch Day Checklist

Once you’ve done your final checks, it’s time to execute your plan. Use this checklist as your guide throughout the day.



  1. Send the Launch Email: This is your most important action. Send a compelling email to your list announcing that your product is live. The subject line should be exciting (e.g., "It's finally here!") and the body of the email should be direct. Remind them of the problem it solves and direct them to the sales page. For example: "The [Your Product Name] is officially live! Click here to get instant access."


  2. Announce on Social Media: Post across all of your chosen platforms. Use a mix of photos, videos, and text to announce the launch. On Instagram, you could post a beautiful photo of the product with a link in your bio. On Facebook, you could post a short video clip with a direct link to the sales page.


  3. Engage with Your Audience: As soon as you launch, your audience will start commenting, asking questions, and sending messages. Your priority for the day should be to respond to every single one. This builds trust and encourages more engagement. For example, if someone asks a question, answer it quickly and thank them for their interest.


  4. Create Social Proof: As soon as you get your first sales or positive comments, share them! A simple screenshot of a customer's comment or a post saying "We just got our first order!" can create immense momentum and encourage others to buy. For example, you could post a Story on Instagram with a screenshot of a happy customer's message and a "tap to buy" sticker.


  5. Consider a Live Session: If you're comfortable, a live video on social media or an "ask me anything" session is a powerful way to answer questions and connect with your audience in real time. This can help you address any last-minute hesitations from potential buyers.

3.  What to Do if Something Goes Wrong

It's common for small issues to pop up. Don't panic. If your website goes down or a link is broken, remain calm. Immediately post a message on your social media channels to let your audience know you are aware of the issue and are working to fix it. This transparent communication builds trust, and your audience will appreciate your honesty.
