Final Project: The SEO Content Project

The goal of this project is to create and optimize a piece of content from start to finish, applying all the skills you've learned in this course. You will then share your work in our community forum to get feedback and share your insights.

Step 1: Keyword Research

  • Choose a niche or topic you are passionate about.

  • Using the methods you learned in Module 2, find a long-tail keyword with low competition that you can realistically target.

  • Identify at least 3-5 related keywords or questions to use in your content.

Step 2: Content Creation

  • Write a high-quality, in-depth piece of content (at least 500 words). This can be a blog post, an article, or a guide.

  • Ensure the content is valuable and directly addresses the user intent of your chosen keyword.

Step 3: On-Page Optimization

  • Craft a compelling title tag and meta description that includes your primary keyword.

  • Organize your content with clear headings (H1, H2, and H3).

  • Add at least one image with a descriptive alt text.

  • Include at least two internal links to other pages on your site (if applicable) using descriptive anchor text.

Step 4: Share and Get Feedback

  • Post your final work in the designated course forum. In your post, please include:

    1. The full text of your completed content.

    2. The primary long-tail keyword you targeted.

    3. A brief summary of your process (e.g., what was the most difficult step?).

This project will not only solidify your skills but also give you a tangible piece of work you can get direct feedback on from your peers. Good luck, and we look forward to seeing what you create!
